Pickles





Pickles is a 4 year old neutered black and tan Lab/Shepherd mix. This sweet boy was a stray found in a parking lot when he was around 6 months old by previous owner. After a year, when he got bigger & needed more room, he was almost headed to the pound when his current family rescued him. After 2 1/2 years living with his family in in a home with a yard, they find themselves in that same situation. His family is moving to an apartment and is unable to bring him along due to pet size/weight restrictions.

Pickles is an outside dog. Loves to run around in the yard (or park). May sometimes dig when bored. He doesn't bark but he howls for attention or to alert us of something.

His family has a 7 year old son so he has been around children. Pickles just loves to be rubbed down and loved on. Responds to sit, no, shake (shakes your hand), stay.

Please help find a home for him soon. His family can only keep him for another 2-4 weeks at most.
