Coastal German Shepherd Rescue

Our dog Stella turned four on April 12. She was born in Castel Volturno, Italy just north of Naples. She was abandoned at only 2 or 3 days old and a friend of ours hand raised her and her three sisters. Stella is spayed. We have an appointment to get her vaccinations current and get her an American microchip (she currently has an Italian microchip which does not work here).

Stella lives with our twelve-year old cat and our two-year old daughter and gets along beautifully with both. She is very gentle and affectionate. Stella gets along well other dogs but can be a bit pushy. She does best with confident dogs, regardless of size.

Stella is very protective of our home and is cautious about visitors. She barks at new people but is easily calmed by meeting them.

Stella completed the Pro Train program early last year and has done very well. The program has a lifetime guarantee. There is a fee for transfer of ownership which we are willing to pay if Stella's new family is interested.
