Prather

Prather is a 3 year old male. His owners turned him over to a high kill shelter because they couldn't afford him anymore. He was never allowed to go in the home, he was always an outdoor dog. From what his old owners say, he will stay in a fenced yard but can leap a six foot fence. He doesn't dig or chew on things he shouldn't. They had never taken him on car rides so they had no idea how good he behaves, but we found out he is a little hesitant to get in but rides nice and quite for the ride. They say he is good with all people and other dogs, which so far we agree. He is so lovable. He doesn't like cats or farm animals though. These were notes that were left by his old family but we promised him we would find people who will allow him indoors and love and care for him the way he deserves.

He is currently in a boarding facility. He would love to have a warm bed and someone to love him, whether it be in a temporary foster home or in a new forever home. Could you open your heart and home to this handsome boy?

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $400 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
