Raja

Raja spent his first night in rescue getting to know four other German shepherd dogs in his foster home. He got along great with all of them, including the alpha dog in the family pack. Raja loves to lean against his foster family members and soak up as much love as possible, sometimes sliding to the floor and flipping over on his back for tummy rubs. (He may be regal and magnificent looking, but a true marshmallow at heart!)

At the shelter where Raja had been taken in as a stray, our volunteer was told he spent a day in the “kid’s Camp” program with elementary age kids. He was a huge hit with the kids and enjoyed all the attention they lavished on him, including a marathon grooming session that apparently Raja couldn’t get enough of.

This boy is a gem! Come meet Raja and be prepared to fall in love.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
