Rascal

Baby Rascal with his sister at the shelter!

At 7 months Rascal is as any puppy would be- happy go lucky and always ready for some play. Rascal was born in the Irvine Animal Shelter. His siblings and his mom found homes and now he is waiting for his. Rascal needs a a family with a big heart that can accept his special condition- known as Myasthenia Gravis, which is expected to go into full remission. Other than his need for daily meds, Rascal is like any other pup!

He is well on his way to being potty trained and is as smart as a whip. He coexists with his foster siblings and romps around without any issue.

Read little Rascal's story in the OC Register.

Puppies are a life-long commitment. They need time, training, vet care and healthy feeding to become good canine citizens. Don't even think of adopting a puppy unless you intend to invest the time and money and commitment required, and you can expect to lose a few good shoes along the way!

If you are interested in meeting Rascal, please contact Sanika via email at sjoshi0318@yahoo.com. Don't forget to fill out our online application.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $400 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
