Romo

Romo is a gorgeous one year old male German shepherd. He and his brother, Kimball, were abandoned in a rural area west of Temecula California, just after the recent fires raged through parts of LA, Orange, and San Diego Counties. One of our volunteers and a caring neighbor worked for several weeks to gain the trust of these two frightened boys and bring them into rescue. They are now safe in our care and have blossomed into the beautiful, loving, and playful puppies that they should be.

Romo is sweet, obedient, and great on a leash. He likes to go for walks and will kiss your hand whenever he gets the chance. Romo seems to have been trained to heal on the left and likes to press his body right next to his human companion during a walk. He is the more dominant of the two dogs and has a watchful nature. Romo watched out for himself and his brother while they lived in the open and probably helped keep the two safe from coyotes.

We are hoping to find a family that would like to adopt Romo and Kimball as a pair, but we will look at other arrangements as well. Romo and Kimball will make wonderful additions to a lucky family!

We are asking a $400.00 donation for Romo's adoption to help with some of our medical bills!

If you are interested in meeting Romo, please contact Teresa via email at baltao@sbcglobal.net. Don't forget to fill out our online application.
