Poor Rose in the Shelter!

Meet Rose, a yount at heart lady who we think was bred over & over again, thrown away in a shelter when her usefulness was expired. Someone filed down some of her teeth. You can see her calloused hip from lying on concrete. She has fly strike on her ears, although this has healed over time, her ears will never be "perfect". Our best guess on her age is 5 - 6 years old.

Rose loves people and gets along with other dogs - she has been with small dogs and does fine as long as they don't pester her . She is just looking for someone to give her a chance. With some love and attention, this girl will blossom and give you years of love and devotion in return. Rose is housebroken, known as a lap dog :) and her gentle personality makes her the perfect fit for almost any family.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $400 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
