Rose

Most of us love roses. Whether or not it is a special occasion, we love to receive a dozen roses to brighten our homes and our lives with their beauty and fragrance. Did you know there are over 100 species? And, of course, you know there are many, many colors.

We at Rescue have our own perfect specimen of a rose whose name, of course, is Rose. What more can you say about this perfect specimen?? In addition to being a beautiful red sable girl, she is sound, loving, and seems to like the boy dogs. And at a recent adoption event, she found new friends with two ten year old girls. She walked up to them, kissed their hands, and wagged her tail. No thorns on this rose!

Rose was found as a stray and a Good Samaritan who found her took wonderful care of her. However, she was unable to keep her so now Rose is looking for a new home. Would you like to invite our Rose into your life? If you do, on Valentine's Day you will be able to remind her of what we hear every year. "Roses are red. Violets are blue. Sugar is Sweet. And so are you."

She is currently in a boarding facility. She would love to have a warm bed and someone to love her, whether it be in a temporary foster home or in a new forever home. Could you open your heart and home to this beauty?

If you are interested in meeting me, please contact Tracey via email at tmac@san.rr.com. Don't forget to fill out our online application.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $400 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
