Rowan
Rowan was kept in the shelter, however; people kept passing her by because she would pace and bark in her kennel whenever they approached. If only Rowan could communicate, those people would have understood that she was trying to say, “Pick me, please pick me,” the only way she knew how. The shelter called Coastal GS Rescue and begged us to help this little orphan because she was far too regal and lovely to consider euthanizing.
At her first adoption event, she got along fine with the other dogs when a volunteer paraded her around the parking lot like a little princess. However, Rowan did not appreciate tucking her royal highness into a crate to allow some of our other dogs to have their turn soaking up sun, fun, and affection. After already being left behind once in her life, we can understand her concern about being sidelined. Consequently, Rowan barked a bit to remind us that she was there.
When you meet Rowan, you will be so enchanted by her radiant beauty and elegance that you couldn’t possibly forget her majesty. Rowan’s is absolutely stunning. Thus, it didn’t come as much of a surprise when we observed our little lady walking properly on the leash and sitting gracefully.
Rowan has demonstrated a tremendous amount of respect and admiration for the volunteers who rescued her from the guillotine. Her strong attachment to her rescuers proves that she will make a very loving and loyal companion, and we are certain that Rowan will blossom into a crowned jewel under the tutelage of a seasoned master who is able to spend some time helping her boost her self-esteem.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems. Donate today using PayPal! Help us save dogs!
