Coastal German Shepherd Rescue

You know how some things just go together in perfect harmony like yin & yang, mind and body, peanut butter & jelly? Serena and Aiden, are such a pair. These two star-crossed lovers found each other in the big world and were raising their six puppies when they were picked up by the shelter. To save this precious, young family, Coastal worked with another rescue organization willing to take the puppies so that we could keep the Aiden and Serena together.

Serena and Aiden are extremely bonded to each other. Even after being briefly separated, we found them together once again nose to nose through the kennel bars, heart to heart. What makes Serena and Aiden so perfect together is the way that their personalities complement each other. Aiden is the strong, silent type while Serena is the life of the party. Playful Serena loves to be in the spotlight soaking up lots of attention from her people pals. If you stop petting her, she flips your hand back up on her head to let you know how much she appreciates your affections. With his bubbly girlfriend by his side, Aiden comes out of his shell to lap up all of the opportunities for loving left in Serena's wake.

Serena is a very easy dog to live with. At 3 years old, she is playful and sweet but also calm and loving. She walks nicely on a leash and rides well in the car. She gets along great with other dogs and she loves people. Serena will bring joy to her new family as she is full of life and energy.

You don't need to have a big yard to take Serena and Aiden home. All you need is a soft spot for romance in your heart and a yoked leash to take this pair out for a daily sunset stroll in the park.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $350 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
