Shadow

Shadow is about 5 months old and has spent the last 2 weeks of his life in a very precarious position. His life was literally moments away from being snuffed out. He was turned into the shelter by his owners after he chewed up some plants in their newly landscaped backyard. ***Note: If you are looking to adopt a puppy, please expect that you will loose shoes, plants, furniture, etc. Puppies NEED to chew and if you do not supply them with appropriate chewing materials, they will find something to chew on and you are sure not to like what they choose.***

Back to Shadow, he is a happy go lucky boy who has no idea that he was almost killed at a county shelter. He loves other dogs and thinks play time is simply the best. He met his new foster brother and they could be twins! Shadow is practically perfect.

Puppies are a life-long commitment. They need time, training, vet care and healthy feeding to become good canine citizens. Don't even think of adopting a puppy unless you intend to invest the time and money and commitment required, and you can expect to lose a few good shoes along the way!

If you are interested in meeting me, please fill out our online application. An adoption counselor will contact you. Due to the overwhelming response we get to puppies, we will not be able to provide information until we have an application on file.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $400 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
