Coastal German Shepherd Rescue

Hello there, I am looking for someone to love! I will be a whole 2 years old on December 10th and would love to celebrate with you. My name is Sissy and my Mom was an Australian Kelpie and Dad looked a bit like a small black GSD, or at least that is what my Mom told me ! I used to live all the way up in Tehachapi with a lady and her husband and little girl but they couldn't keep me so this nice lady with Coastal drove all the way up to save me from the animal shelter. (I heard it was a bad place and sometimes you don't get out---oooooo!)

Well, anyhow, I have all my shots, I am housebroken, crate trained and had that surgery you all speak highly of...I think it is called a spay, and I ride in the car and walk nicely on a leash. I am not a barker or a biter but can be a bit shy at first with other dogs and people. Now, don't get me wrong, I do like dogs and people but I just have to get to know them a bit first. And after we get acquainted, just TRY to get rid of me. I will stick to you like GLUE!

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $350 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
