Spartacus

A perfect example of this boys perfect manners: On his second night in his new foster home, Spartacus was a guest at a small party. His fosters wondered how he would do with all the commotion and excitement. Spartacus was the perfect host, quietly greeting and welcoming each guest and then retiring to a spot by the fire where he could observe from a distance. He didn't even once try to help himself to the hors d'ouvres on the coffee table at nose level!

Spartacus has excellent recall and with just a whistle will return from wherever he is and whatever he was doing in two seconds flat. He loves walks and is SUPER on a leash and takes new experiences in stride. He loves the outdoors and hikes in nature but is content to wait until you are ready to take him out for his walks. Spartacus is housebroken and is probably about 5 years old. He likes other dogs but he'd prefer to eat a cat rather than coexist with one so a home without small furry creatures would probably be best for this gorgeous boy.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $400 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
