Suri

Suri is happy little sprite. She is one year and two months old. We know her age because the shelter has been keeping track of her since she was a little puppy. She was adopted from the shelter three times, and each time she was brought back. Why? Because she behaved like a puppy. She was too active.

Suri is the perfect example of what can go wrong when someone becomes enamored with a cute little puppy, takes it home, and then realizes that in many ways they are just like human children. They require love, patience, dedication, and more patience, tolerance, and did I say more patience? Yes, German Shepherd puppies are very active.

Luckily for Suri, her experiences haven't caused her to lose the innocence of a puppy. She loves to play with other dogs. Despite being adopted out and traded in three times, she is still very happy-go-lucky, and, yes, she has energy. She's just waiting now for a family to come along and love her and be patient with her while she develops into the beautiful young lady she can become with the proper training.

Many dogs who have been bounced around and felt the security of a home, only to lose it, would have learned by now not to trust humans. Suri still trusts us very much, and we are determined this time not to let her down.

We are asking a $400.00 donation for Suri's adoption.

If you are interested in meeting me, please contact Teresa via email at baltao@sbcglobal.net. Don't forget to fill out our online application.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
