Tino

The first time I saw Tino, he was having a bad hair day. The poor guy looked like a lion with tuffs of fur sticking out in every direction. First order of business was a good brushing to find out if there was in fact a dog buried underneath that big ball of fur.

It took a good 30 minutes of vigorous brushing to reveal a gorgeous GSD that is in a class all by himself. His black and red coat is not only striking in looks but is also incredibly silky and soft. If eyes are the windows to the soul, these stained glass beauties are camouflaging a saint. Tino was a great sport during his beauty regimen. He demonstrated the temperament of a lamb by standing perfectly still while I did my best to tame his matted mane. Tino is so secure in his masculinity that he wouldn’t be the least bit ashamed to admit that he enjoyed it.

Now that Tino is proud of his well-groomed appearance, he walks along confidently at your side with his head held high and his tail wagging happily. When you stop walking Tino sits and looks up at you with those honey colored eyes eagerly awaiting your next signal. What a great opportunity to give him some much deserved praise to reinforce his great walking skills. We know that you want to, and Tino will be greatly appreciative of the affection too!

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $350 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
