Troy

Troy & Chanel having some fun together!

Attention all girls, tomboys, and girly-girls. There is a handsome two year old black and tan boy who is truly a girl's man and who is looking for you. What could you expect from a boy whose name is Troy? Maybe he is looking for today's reincarnation of Helen of Troy because she was described as having "the face that launched a thousand ships".

Troy loves to play and will use his charm with the girls but not with other male dogs. He is an easy going dog who is looking for a quiet home. He'd love to be in adult only home and if there is a new girlfriend in the home as well, he'll have met his goal of looking for and finding love! Even though he is looking for love with a new partner in crime, he is a typical German Shepherd whose priority is to protect his family so please, not a ton of foot traffic, pool parties, and the like. Finally, like all dogs who are easy to have in one's home, Troy is housebroken. Won't you be the one to find Troy his new Helen of Troy?

Troy is currently in a boarding facility. He would love to have a warm bed and someone to love him, whether it be in a temporary foster home or in a new forever home. Could you open your heart and home to this wonderful boy?

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $400 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
