Tundra

Poor Tundra has had a rough start with Coastal. She whelped 7 puppies shortly arriving from the shelter. Things seemed fine until the pups were 2 weeks old. For some reason Tundra's milk dried up and they started getting sick. They were rushed to the vet, but we lost 3. The remaining pups are now being hand raised so Tundra's mommy duties are officially over. We took her to the vet to see if there was something wrong with her and the vet discovered a rawhide stick lodged in the back of her mouth. This stoic girl never gave any indication she was in pain. She went home on medications and is feeling much better now.

Like most of the dogs at the shelter, she came in as stray, so the shelter didn’t have any history on her. At this time, we don't know much about her other than our evaluator's observations and notes. We will post updates to her bio as we spend time and get to know her better.

Tundra is currently in a boarding facility. She would love to have a warm bed and someone to love her, whether it be in a temporary foster home or in a new forever home. Could you open your heart and home to this beauty?

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $400 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
