Vegas
Vegas shows off her scar after her surgery!
Vegas was just rescued from a high kill shelter. Like most of the dogs at the shelter, she came in as stray, so the shelter didn’t have any history on her. At this time, we don't know much about her other than our evaluator's observations and notes. We will post updates to her bio as we spend time and get to know her better.
Update from her foster mom 5/27/2009:
Vegas had repair surgery for her hip, and is recovering in my home as a foster dog. Despite having to recover from the original injury without care and being discarded at a high kill shelter, Vegas has maintained a loving disposition. She is sweet and loving and affectionate, and very well mannered in my home. She gets along great with my male shepherd and my male corgi. She is trusting and loves attention and has immediately bonded with me and my husband. She is currently on crate rest while her hip heals and is cooperating very well with that. When she is out of the crate, all she wants to do is cuddle.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $400 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis.
