Vixen

Vixen is a beautiful girl who seems to be very affectionate to whoever will spend time with her. We thought up her name before we met her - Vixen is most definitely not a vixen - she is a very sweet and mellow young lady. She seems to know her basic commands but could certainly do with some refresher training. She is very well behaved, and also easy to correct if she ever needs it. She is currently fostered with two older male GSDs and she is getting along well with both of them. She passed our cat test, so would probably be OK with cats also.

Like most Shepherds, Vixen is looking for a home where she will be part of the family - she is very sweet to the people she meets and would love to spend her days close-by her new owners. Although she is pretty mellow, at 2 years old, she is still young and has plenty of energy, so she is definitely looking for a family who will give her plenty of exercise and take her on outings to dog parks so she can play with others. She would be OK as an only dog, but also seems to get along well with others, so being a member of an accepting pack would also be OK.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $350 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
