Warner

If someone asked you what is the first thing that comes to mind when someone says Paul Newman, what would you say? His handsome good looks? His movies? Or maybe those stunning, unbelievably blue eyes. Well, Warner is our Paul Newman. Warner is a three to four year old "liver" German Shepherd who will capture your attention immediately. A little genetics instruction is in order. Liver German Shepherd's are caused by a recessive color gene which is carried by both parents. In this case, all black pigment is replaced with browns or liver colors. Now you can imagine a German Shepherd that has a brown nose, a brownish colored coat ranging from a very light brown to a deep chocolate brown, and light colored eyes. When you look at Warner's photos, you'll see what we mean.

Let's move from describing how he looks (everyone is attracted to him because he is stunning) to describing his personality (which is equally stunning). Warner loves all dogs. He is very secure and confident. He knows his basic commends. He walks well on lead. He gets attached to his humans quickly. He absolutely loves to go "by-bye" so make sure you are ready and willing to welcome him when you go for a drive. He actually talks - sort of a low groan (not a growl). However, no cats! Won't you welcome the unusually handsome boy into your life? He'll command attention wherever you go.

He is currently in a boarding facility. He would love to have a warm bed and someone to love him, whether it be in a temporary foster home or in a new forever home. Could you open your heart and home to this handsome boy?

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $400 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
